PRINTER SPECIFICATION GUIDANCE
Follow our recommended printer settings to print your own badges with most regular home / office printers.

We recommend using a laser printer. However inkjet printers are also okay for printing these badges.

Settings vary from printer to printer. Try to follow these instructions as closely as possible with your printer.

It is important to select the "media type" or "paper type" as thick card or card stock on your printer. You must select the heaviest weight setting. This will avoid jams and also smudging.

Print quality should be set to the highest quality / resolution setting.

Specifications of the eco-butterfly badges 190gsm with a 56gsm liner, so the total overall weight is approximately 256gsm.

Most printers are rated to print with a maximum setting of either 222gsm or 256gsm thickness. We recommend using a printer rated with a maximum media thickness of 256gsm or higher.
Eco-Friendly Card Badges
Our eco-friendly fold-over 100% card butterfly badges are made from FSC Certified responsibly sourced, recyclable card and do not require a plastic holder. Designed and printed for you, or print yourself using our downloadable templates.
A durable 380 GSM, double sided, eco-friendly badge, perfect for conferences and training events. Available in Standard, Medium and Large sizes. With holes at the top centre and corners (all our eco-friendly card badges are now triple hole only), they can be used with single hook or double hook lanyards, or clips. The butterfly badges and backing paper can be recycled in regular paper recycling streams.
For the ultimate finish we can pre-print full colour designs and/or names on your badges for you using our professional digital printers. Standard and deluxe production services are also available.
